From remote eyes on the field to autonomous intelligence.

What started as a rugged video monitoring network has become the oil and gas industry's most capable multi-sensor AI platform.

2012

Founded in Sapulpa, Oklahoma

Well Checked Systems was established with a single purpose: give operators reliable visibility into remote wellsites they could not physically watch around the clock. The founding team brought decades of industrial automation and enterprise software experience to a problem the oilfield had never fully solved.

The early years

Building the remote-eyes era

The company grew to monitor 200+ remote sites, deploying ruggedized camera systems that survived extreme temperatures, vibration, and harsh atmospheric conditions where standard equipment failed. Operators gained continuous visual awareness across acreage that previously required daily truck routes.

Early research

Predictive maintenance via acoustic intelligence

The team pioneered patented acoustic anomaly detection for natural gas compressors — collecting and evaluating sound-wave signatures to predict failures minutes to hours before they occurred. This work became the acoustic layer inside what is now Zensory.ai™.

Today

Zensory.ai™ platform — the convergence

Video, audio, and LWIR optical gas imaging fused on a single edge-computing platform. Machine learning establishes a site baseline in approximately two days, then discerns fugitive emissions from normal process activity — alerting only on true anomalies. Zentinal Core™ eliminates false alarms; Zentinal IQ™ quantifies and documents every event for regulatory defensibility.

Hank Haines

Hank co-founded SEQTEK in 1999 and has led digital transformation initiatives for Fortune 500 companies and mid-market enterprises for 25 years. His expertise spans enterprise software, business process optimization, and client relationship management, providing Well Checked with strategic leadership and enterprise sales capabilities. He oversees overall business strategy, customer relationships, and company vision.

John Adcock

John brings more than 30 years of oil and gas leadership to Well Checked, with a career focused on driving efficiency, elevating field performance, and leading high-impact teams across multiple basins. He spent 9 years as Senior Vice President at Ascent Resources, one of the largest privately held E&P companies in the United States, and previously served as Chesapeake Energy's Mid Continent Business Unit Vice President. He is Chairman of the API RP 90-2 Committee and the LOGA Technical Committee, and co-authored the Marcellus Shale Coalition's Well Completion and Work-Over Operations Best Practices.

Mike Haines

Mike co-founded SEQTEK and brings extensive experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and enterprise software architecture. A former IBM systems engineer, Mike has deep technical expertise in computer vision, acoustic analysis, and sensor integration. He leads Well Checked's technology development, AI algorithm optimization, and technical infrastructure — and holds patents in acoustic anomaly detection.
